Abstract

Methods: A 40-year-old man with a history of gastric adenocarcinoma presented with progressive visual loss in his right eye. A solitary choroidal tumour was found, but no clinically detectable metastasis initially.

Conclusions: This patient represents a rare occurrence of metastatic gastric adenocarcinoma to the choroid and optic nerve, developing as a first sign of systemic recurrence.
