Diagnostic significance of serum IgE-Af and IgG-Af determined by ELISA in allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis

IgE-Af and IgG-Af measured by the ELISA double-antibody technique in sera from 11 patients with ABPA were elevated to at least twice that in sera from asthma patients with positive skin tests to Af. This suggests that serum IgE-Af and IgG-Af measured by this technique have a practical value for the early diagnosis and follow-up of ABPA, as well as for differentiating patients with ABPA from asthma patients with positive skin tests to Af.
