Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy includes various pathologies; therefore, the symptoms and course of patients are not uniform. Maintenance therapies such as intravenous and subcutaneous immunoglobulin have been introduced and require continuous outpatient care. A detailed explanation of the disease and shared decision-making with the patient are necessary to provide the best treatment for each patient.
