Abstract

This chapter predominately describes a procedure for isolating circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from the blood of bone cancer patients and their subsequent characterization using flow cytometry. Additionally, descriptions of alternative methods for the isolation and characterization of CTCs are also provided.
