"Perthes-like" changes in congenital dislocation/dysplasia of the hip.

True lateral X-rays of the hip joint allow evaluation of anteversion and suggest that there is a remodeling effort to correct malocclusion incident to anteversion. These changes are seen frequently in congenital dislocation of the hip and in Perthes disease.
