Abstract
Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the incidence and CT imaging features of intraperitoneal rhabdomyosarcoma in children.
Conclusions: Approximately 10% of children with rhabdomyosarcoma may have intraperitoneal neoplastic involvement either at the time of diagnosis or subsequently. On CT, intraperitoneal rhabdomyosarcomas are associated with ascites, enhancing nodules, masses, a pseudomyxoma peritonei-like appearance, and omental caking.
