Abstract
A boy of 12 years died suddenly of myocardial infarction, which was due to coronary artery aneurysm typical of Kawasaki's arteritis. Two years earlier he had an obscure illness, recognised retrospectively as incomplete Kawasaki's disease. We recommend routine echocardiography even if only one or two features of the syndrome are present.
